South Kesteven District Council

SKDC’s Assets Section comprises Property and Facilities, Leisure and Amenities, and Cultural Services.

Property and Facilities carry out major planned works to both commercial properties and council homes and provides full Contract Management and Quantity Surveying Services, together with management and maintenance of the properties including all repairs.  The Capital Programme for Housing Improvements for 2011/2012 is £6.2 million and the section carries out the tendering process for these works.

Leisure and Amenities provide leisure management to four leisure centres, the weekly market service and community leisure activities.

Cultural Services provide management of Grantham & Stamford Arts Centres, rural activities and tourist information.
