Interactive Education Workshops and Programmes
At Energise7 we have a passion for science and a core objective of our business is to instil that passion into others, both young and old. To help us achieve this aim we provide a range of one-off interactive education workshops, as well as more extended work programmes, which utilise 'hands-on' science activities to engage people in the fascinating world of science. Many of our workshops are designed bespoke for our clients' needs, which range from Schools directly to Learned Societies and Corporates, but we also have a host of 'ready to go' sessions and activities which we can provide to you. To find out more on what we can offer please contact Mike Ridler at mikeridler@energise7.co.uk or call him on 07779 582473 and he will be happy to discuss what Energise7 can offer and how we can meet your individual requirements.
Focus Group and Scoping Study Facilitation
Energise7 has an extremely strong network in the education sector, built over years of experience and previous work contacts. This unique position enables us to carry out scoping studies and focus groups with teachers up and down the country, from primary through to the top end of secondary education and in both the state and public school sectors. If you are looking for an organisation that can facilitate a project which involves input from teachers then you have come to right place! Energise7 is currently undertaking a scoping study on behalf of the Biochemical Society which involves over 40 teachers from across the UK. To find out more click here.

Many of our events are connected to education however we also work in the corporate sector, facilitating business to business and networking events. Public Engagement Activities
As with our interactive education workshops and extended programmes in schools we are also passionate about engaging the general public in interactive and enjoyable activities associated with science. We support many science festivals and events by providing stands which engage the public with science and engineering through a variety of 'hands-on' experiments and activities. Many of our clients see us as a 'one-stop-shop' for their delivery needs in the world of public engagement as we provide them with a unique service which includes idea creation for a stand theme, production and manufacture of 'hands-on' experiments and activities, actual facilitation and delivery of those activities at the event and of course all the associated risk assessments and insurance cover. We also work directly with science festivals as Energise7 providing our own unique activities. Energise7 has recently worked at the British Science Association Nottinghamshire Branches' 'Science in Park - Nottingham Science Festival' where we provided activities including:
'Make your own molecules' - An activity where by children could make a range of different recognisable molecules from molemod pieces
'Key Stone Bridge' - An activity where participants could build a key stone bridge from a number of sections which the participants could then walk across
'Evolution Frieze' - A 5m art display depicting the Evolution Time Line, which then had a number of activities associated with it (this was delivered on behalf of the Biochemical Society).
Over the next few weeks Energise7 will also be working at the East Midlands 'Big Bang' regional festival of science, the Cheltenham Science Festival and several further festivals in the autumn.
